St. Elias Teen SOYO

Greetings all,

 

It is almost time for the 2019 Parish Life Conference!

 

This year our gracious is host is All Saints Church in Raleigh, NC. While at the PLC, our teens will have the opportunity to meet other Orthodox teens from our diocese and get to experience a hierarchical liturgy. They will also be able to participate in a service project, teen conferences, and the much-anticipated Bible Bowl/Oratorical competitions. 

 

Details

 

-Dates: June 12th-15th

-Departure: June 12th 9:30AM from St. Elias

-Chaperones: Fr. Gabriel (832) 349-5669, Demetri (724) 584-6393, Hannah (404) 790-4797

-Transportation: We will either be caravanning or renting a 15-person van in addition to another vehicle (this will be finalized soon) 

-Returning the 15tharound 7:30pm to St. Elias

-Hotel: Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center (Raleigh)

-Other:

--Please fill out the attached documents (for each of your teens) and email them back

--Please have each teen bring $60 to cover travel meal expenses and "fun" money if they desire

--We ask that they pack light and with appropriate church and everyday attire 

--We have 5 hotel rooms for our SOYO next to each other

--We do ask that each teen bring a snack so that we have a stock pile of snacks for the road/downtime

 

We are incredibly blessed to have our travel expenses and hotel accommodations taken care of by St. Elias. If you would like to make a donation to St. Elias to defray the cost, please make a check out to St. Elias with “PLC” in the memo.
